Pearl drums & harware
Paiste cymbals
Remo heads
Vater sticks

Not too familiar with mics & electronics at this point. Also, I'm not too fussy with heads or sticks at this point, these are just what I am using right now. The only one-and-only for me now is Pearl, and Paiste is fast headed that way.

I see a pattern in drum and hardware, a good pattern.

Great, isn't it?

Yeah there is nothing wrong with picking the companies you like and dont let anyone tell you that you need to use (insert brand here) because its the best.

Yeah you're right there, I've inquired and there's a fairly long list of requirements.
I've been told its not all about being an awesome & flashy drummer that can do rudiments at 200 bpm & twirl & juggle your sticks while playing "Moby ######" with
one hand in 4/3 time. Though that would be impressive!
They wanted to know more about whether you are in a band & how much exposure you were getting, like tours, & any TV stuff, they wanted to know about recording contracts, & wanted to listen to the band's CDs, & some cookbooks so they can see you playing in the band, a bio on your drumming history & current gear that's being used, just to name a few.....

thats right hihat, it really is all about what the company can get out of the deal. thats why many really good drummers cant get endorsed, they simply do not have the exposure. and why some not so good drummers do. (Not referring to anyone in particular. cough*Meg White*cough)

Have yamaha at cost, but I don't want to spend any money there.
DW is it for me.
Someone said not many are enodorsed as such in NZ, only overseas, but I will be going for DW when I head over in a few years.

Ace choice Vitamindrum ,I love all the top end kits of your popular brands and not so known brands, but DW's my personal favourite. If I lived up in Auckland,I would be in Drum City most days checking out the DW kits . Vitamindrum, is there a colour/finish that you have in mind for your DW kit?

This is what I was thinking. I've seen him with two toms out to his left, maybe a 6" and 8". Then there's that weird drum he uses for the "ba-ra-rum" in Megalomaniac.

Mmmm, I love my toms really low too, looks so sexeh
